Thanks to Dave, Bram, Stu, Sean, Erin Mills Acura, IMSA, Honda Canada (oops, don't tell Yamaha I'm thanking Honda), and anyone else who put a GREAT effort to insure we had a GREAT time. It's unfortunate we didn't have more cars out to make it look like a "club", and for those who missed it - WE HAD A BLAST!!! The tech section was interesting to hear about the differences between bikes, and the parade laps were fun - going so slow allowed me to see the cracks, cambered corners, ripples, and all the other things I never get to see when racing. Even theh victory laps are faster:tongue: , but the fans got to see some great cars and at least we weren't crawling like the Vette's.

Whoever made this happen - THANKS!!!! Now if you can find me some sponsors I am sure I can do them proud.

We need to say a BIG thanks to SEAN, as he was working on this since last year, and was not able to attend due to a work related commitment.

I would also like to say thanks Peter Mills of NSXCA , Larry Hayes and Kim from IMSA.

Likewise!
Nice to meet the Ottawa and Waterloo guys. The opportunity to do a couple of parade laps at such a fantastic circuit on such an important weekend was particularly memorable. I enjoyed the tech seminar very much...thanks to Kim and all the IMSA reps for looking after us so well!
Thanks to Shawna too...I've now met every corner worker and beer stand server at Mosport Park!
We walked miles, viewed the races from every corner on the course, saw some of the best racers in the world...all in all a terrific weekend...I hope we can do it again next year.

Yeah it was great!

Thanks to all who came out with special thanks to:

Larry and Kim at IMSA
Erin Mills Acura
Honda Canada
Peter Mills from NSXCA

THOSE are the people who made your weekend so great.

I hate the "Me Too", but have to add one here!

Very well done.
Great day! Next time I'm taking my hiking boots. Nobody said there would be so many hills to be climbing.
Isn't anybody going to fess up and talk about the steak lunch Acura provided us with today. Yum Yum!!

Thank-you for carting me around the track and showing the line, thanks for introducing me to some of your track friends as well.. :)

Thanks to Bram who carpooled was a fun ride up. The ride back was very long due to what was it the 5 accidents that we saw on the hwy?

Good day! Hope you all had fun on Sunday.

I'm so happy everyone had a great time! Needless to say I am very jealous, but at least my car was there! :)

Thanks to Bram and Dave for taking over and getting more done than I thought possible! What a great event.

Let's all give a special thanks to Larry & Peter of the NSXCA who thought of us right away when they were contacted by Honda USA. Without their work, this simply wouldn't have happened.

Sean.........sorry I missed your name - THANKS

It was GREAT we got 14 cars out on Saturday and a bunch more on Sunday! I'd like to thank all of you who came out and supported each other, our great sponsors (Erin Mills and Honda), and the Club itself.

The Club is what we make it, and having a lot of us together at a great event is a big part of why we started the Club in the first place.

For all of you who got a chance to feel some speed at the track, may I suggest that you come out on Sept 19th when Dave and I will be at the track? We'll take you for rides, (in my case high speed laps, in Dave's case, just rides ;) ) to give you a feel of what its like to race around the track.

I'll start a thread about it - and we'll talk Rui and Daria into coming with their NSXs so there will be a bunch to choose from. :)

Folks,

So gald to see this all worked out. This all started a long time ago(February2007) and with the help of IMSA, American Honda, HighCroft Racing, and of course, Peter Mills (who would not let up on getting this to happen) it is now history:).

Hope to see you all at NSXPO2007.

Regards,
LarryB

As an Ottawa member, I would like to add my vote of thanks to everyone who organized this, the NSX Club of America, Erin Mills Acura, and Honda Canada. I love watching ALMS racing and all the support races, and the opportunity to do so with sponsorship, the parade laps and so on really put the icing on the cake.

I think are sponsors know that we are ambassadors for Honda and Acura. I get constant questions about the car and tell people that it has been great with no major problems and all the reliability and performance that one expects from Honda and Acura. I drive my car - it has 175,000 km on it and is definitely still going strong including on the track.

It was great meeting all the Toronto region club members. We look forward to having you come out this way and hopefully visit Calabogie racetrack.

Steve
