I have noticed the driver front tire is 1" lower than the passenger side. The car was installed with TEIN shocks from the previous owner. The mileage of the car is 29K and yr 2000. 1. How long do these shocks last if it has been sitting in the garage most of the time ( I don't know when they were installed). 2. Will Bilstein shocks be compatible for TEIN spring coils for replacement? 3. Can I raise the perch up to compensate on the driver side without replacing it ( I don't track)?

They look like these ones

Thank you

if they are the tein coilover, you adjust the perch until all the height is even. You will need the tein perch wrench to make the job easier.

the teins should have much better handling compare to the bilsteins. But you will notice that the car is really firm even when the dampers are at its softest settings.

But why is one side 1" lower than the other side at even perch on both sides? would it be the shock go bad?

I did raise the perch up on the lower side to even it out, i am not sure it is the right thing to do.

Maybe your rears are set differently from side to side , causing the front to be out.
