SOLD
These are among the lightest coilovers available for the NSX, constructed from A7050 aluminum, rather than steel, and provide track-tuned handling, along with a much lower unsprung weight. The Tein RA features a mono-tube structure, for maximum performance and stability, as well as pillow ball upper mounts, and lightweight construction. Also included are helper springs, to maximize handling responsiveness.
The Tein RA is a Popular Choice for JDM tuners, due to the low unsprung weight, and track-tuned handling. By reducing the weight of the dampers, the entire suspension becomes more responsive, improving handling more than simply a suspension change. Compared to the stock shocks and springs, these aluminum coilovers weigh 14.1lbs less, and allow for both height, and dampening adjustment. Since this set is new, all adjustment tools, parts, and accessories are included, they will ship in the original Tein boxes.
When I found these available in Japan, brand new, I bought them right away, but a shipping mishap meant they didn't arrive for about three months, during which time I had to buy another set of coilovers in order to get my car mobile. This kit is no longer offered, but at Today's conversion rate it would cost around $2200 new, I'm asking $1500.
