Going in my home theater room. I have 6 professionally prepped/framed movie theater size posters on the walls, a kick ass Star wars light saber, Bride of CHucky, Seed of Chucky, Chucky himself, as well as a sweet, sweet alien fetus in a big glass jar that lights up from the inside (like in Independance day the movie).

I'm a bit nervous on the wife's reaction to this. it's pretty big... and not exactly the cheapest...

but what the hell. i just spent last night saving some scumbag instead of sleeping like everyone else... and then worked the whole next day, feeling like a zombie. So i've convinced myself i deserve it.

I'll try to find the link for the rotating 3d pic of it so you can see front/back.

that shows some more pics.

Hope you're buying straight from Sideshow because they provide excellent customer service. These items are really fragile and at times arrive damaged and Sideshow always takes awesome care of their customers.

Man, I know how that is!

Once you get it, post some pics of your theater room. I myself am an enthusiast, but my passion always wanes when the weather picks up.

On a side note, I think the ULTIMATE movie memrobilia will be to pick up this badboy once it hits the free market. Better make room in my viewing lounge!

:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Lol If i was your wife I would kick your arse for buying that for $750:eek:
little expensive, but hey if you like it, buy it and if she kicks you kick her back lol.

Just buy her a new purse/gift before revealing your new toy.

+ 1...I learned when you buy a new toy for yourself, you need to pad the budget to include a toy for her as well. You take less beatings with a frying pan that way.

remote choking, not included...

"$750" is chump change if it's something that gives you lots of gratification & happiness.
Uh oh, you can't stop there!
Where to buy this???
There's also a neat Star Wars Darth Vader "Robotic Arm" (requires assembly, sits on a base, actual gripping/movement w/ controls, very intricate detail), at times for ~$10 [+s/h] on Amazon, Target, eBay, etc'. It used to be $40+ last year.

Ha surprised to see this thread still kicking.

It's pretty sweet. Looks totally lifelike. Only issue i have is i'm running out of places to put cool movie memorabilia in my theater room.

She never did ask the cost (im guessing she thought it was under $100). So justs rolled her eyes a little when i unpacked it.

Tee hee. Now the NEXT item i bought for myself (didn't tell the wife... yet... gulp...)

Just a little bit more expensive. (a lot more than i paid for my last house).

I'll post pics when i unpack it. :-)
