I think this is a shot at Dell PC. To be fair to Dell (even though I don't like their PCs), they did move their call center back to the US when their customer service rating took a nose dive after it was outsourced abroad.

I have good friends who are Indian, and they thought this was pretty funny

Yep I bought a high end dell XPS and the support sucked. I called last week for the issue I had open for 223 days, CMOS batt died and they sent a batt, system board, and memory to replace the next day. The India support sucked and he wanted me to reboot and try stuff like re-load the computer. This last time he was in Tenn and super nice.
