TE37 is the best light weight wheel ?

I did a TE37 conversion with the stock 16/17 and the weight savings were as follows: 16X7 dropped from 16.75 lbs to 11.2 lbs and the 17X8.5 dropped from 20.85 lbs to 15 lbs. (per wheel). The savings would not be as dramatic with the 17/18 upgrade but it would be a lateral move at the worst and probably a slight weight savings per wheel.

VOLK's lightest wheel line is their TE37 magnesium; their lightest forged wheel line in production is their CE28N which is slightly lighter than the TE37s accross the size spectrum.

Seems to be an internal consistency problem. Is the latter statement the correct one?

And to add a friendly reminder, 17/18 tires are a lot heavier than the 16/17.

TE37 magnesium (Mag) is a complete different line from the original TE37s. Much like how the LE37T, TE37X and the TE37 Gravel are all different lines.

For non-magnesium wheels, the CE28Ns are the lightest in the Volk wheel family without question. I believe the SE37Ks are also a tad lighter than the original TE37s.

be careful with those ce28n's if you live in poor road areas with potholes, ect. They are quite delicate and easy to dent.
