Hi Everyone,

I'd like to finally make an intro since I've been lurking on prime for half a decade. I kept my '91 stock for years until I realized it would become a family member.

Version 1 began with a snap ring related swap of the tranny so I replaced the clutch/water pump and upgraded to JDM 4.23 short gears.

Version 2 saw a Kenwood double din, Konig Tantrum rims, Eibach springs with Bilstein struts, SOS short gear stalk, Comptech short shifter, Cantrell AIS and Tubi V2 single tip exhaust.

Version 3, the current version and largest upgrade so far - Extreme Dimensions Comptech replica widebody kit, Volk GT-C Face 2 wheels, Cantrell Headers, GruppeM Intake, Dali engine dressup, Dali Coilover add-on, SOS teardrop rapid shift knob, Cliff's MobileHID 5K Kit, Bert's Type R replica engine cover and Sparco ring steering wheel with NRG quick release and Taitec rapid hub adapter.

I've spent 5 years researching/locating parts and getting ideas from all of you to get the car where it's at today...it's been worth it!

I'm very proud to own an NSX and hold a memberhip on Prime. My friends owning other vehicles frequent this site and wish their forums had invaluable info and tight knit community similar to ours. Honestly, I haven't had to ask a question because my answers are here!

Thanks to ScienceOfSpeed, Dali Racing and SoundSpeed for making this project possible. They displayed utmost patience when providing recommendations and dealing with my questions and ramblings!

Anyway, if any of you are visiting Toronto or locals want to meet up, feel free to PM me.

Take care - BASH

THAT IS SWEET!!!!
The Comptecs widebody kit is my favorite.
It maintains the original lines of the NSX.
I also like the color change.
Tell us more about the kit.
Where did you get it?
How was the fit and finish?

All the best,

Nate in DC

Thanks for the positive feedback! The kit was purchased from Creative Auto Designs in Anaheim. Fitment was a nightmare - the panels and bumpers didn't line up. It was almost as if the kit was meant to fit another car. Let's just say the bodyshop doesn't want to see it for a long time since it took over the recommended 100 hours from Comptech to install. They had it for over 4 months!

The color change went from berlina black to Aston Martin Meteorite Silver. The body matches the Volks pretty well...

welcome Bash,
check out the Canadian section for our meets and other events
would love to see your car out
where bouts do you live?

I'm in the east end and Richmond Hill/Markham area quite a bit. Looking forward to attending some get-togethers and meeting all of you!

Your car looks phenomenal! I'd love to see it closer up in person. The colour looked really sharp when you drove by the other day. We should do a group lunch in the markham/richmond hill area...

LOL! Welcome to the dubious world of body kits.

Nice car!

Well done! That's a very nice looking car! What's the width of the rear wheels?
Comptech widebody kit is the only wb I'll consider because of the rear bodyline styling ... unfortunately comptech don't produce them anymore. Not interested in replica because of fitment issues, as stated above. But it seem like they did a good job on the car.

whoah, for a minute i thought the colors of our nsx's looked almost identical... beautiful color...

The rears are 19x10.5. Chris@SOS was more than knowledgeable in regards to custom offsets for this particular widebody. To be honest, I was concerned on how fitment would turn out and the fact that I may have to wait three or more months for the wheels to arrive from Japan. In the end, the offsets turned out right, the wheels arrived in three months, and the fit and finish of the volks were top notch as expected.

now u just need the 2002+ tail lights ;) looks great man! God I love that color!!!!

Your car is just beautiful. There's no other word to describe it! The color choice was a nice touch.
