I shorted the service connector and found the TCS light blinking:

3 long and then 1 short blinks

I checked the FAQ...no luck...anybody know what this is on my early 91?

The TCS light comes on with out any reason when I am just cruising along the highway...I feel a "jerk" in the rear before it goes off...then the yellow light comes on and stays that way until I turn the car off and then on...the engine does not go into limp mode...

Ok I just check the 1991 FSM...found out on page 19-100 of the Troubleshooting flow chart page...that it might be an "intermittant failure...check for poor connections or loose wires"

I just checked it and can not find any loose connections...tire pressures are fine as well

Can anybody confirm if I am on the right track?

PER the service manual it is one of three things in this order:
1 ECU 2 TCS 3 wire harness. remember the computer only holds three codes a a time and after that no new ones will flash until you clear the unit (pull clock fuse)if you keep throwing the same code you can get it over and over as long as you are jumped and reading them
