hey guys,
I'm looking to sell my Taitec GT Parallel exhaust. This is for '91 - '96 cars. This is different from the Taitec JGTC Parallel exhaust. The exhaust was bought about 2 years ago, but only has a little over 4000 miles on it since my car has been in storage for half the time (gotta love Boston winters). No winter salt has touched it! Mechanically the exhaust is in perfect shape. Visually, the pipes have darkened a little due to heat and there's a colored heat ring in the center of the cannister. I polished the tips and cannister after taking it off the car and they look like new except for the colored heat ring.

As for the sound, I don't have much to compare it to. My car also has DC headers on it. This combo produced a pretty quiet idle note. Louder than stock, but not obnoxious. Under normal driving the sound isn't intrusive with the window closed. You can carry on a normal conversation with your passenger w/o problem. When you get on it it definitely lets itself be known. You can hear it quite far down the street. With the headers the exhaust note is more of a throaty sound rather than a deep rumble. It sounds like a JGTC car when flying through the Boston tunnel at 8000rpm. From what I've read about other Taitec exhaust i'd guess that this one is in the middle of the range in terms fo volume.

I'd like to get about $650 for the exhaust. Local pick up would be easiest but I can ship it for another $50.
I'm having a rough time keeping track of who's still interested, who's not, and trying to be fair by responding in order. So if anyone is still interested call me at 617-290-7682 and lets work out the details.
Thanks
