TAITEC GT JDM Parallel Exhaust for 1991-1996 NSX

The best sounding NSX exhaust - very hard to get in the U.S.

The TAITEC Parallel Exhaust is lovingly hand constructed and polished by craftsmen in Japan with beautiful exhaust tips that add that special performance touch to the rear of your NSX. Careful attention was paid to airflow dynamics of the NSX, throughout the RPM band, to craft an exhaust that looks, sounds, and performs great. The TAITEC GT Parallel Exhaust is the best of everything you could wish for in an aftermarket exhaust. Please note that the above picture is what the exhaust looks like new. After a few hundred miles, the exhaust gets a bit of a patina. This one has about 4,000 miles on it. Bidding starts at $350, with no reserve!

To answer a few questions I got on email-

This is a direct bolt-in replaceemnt for the factory exhaust. No need to buy gaskets - it bolts right up to the cats.

Should take about 30 min to install.

Sounds pretty much stock puttering around, but gets very F355-ish with a nice scream at full throttle, but not as loud as the RM or GM exhausts

Do you have a sound clip?

I believe the thread discussion is on Taitec JGTC parallel exhaust, which is different from the Taitec GT parallel exhaust.

They are 2 different models of the Taitec exhaust, and I believe the sound is different. I have not heard of either one.

Well, im afraid that I could not find sound clips anywhere online. The exhaust is sitting in a box, so im sorry I cant record and post clips, but damn this is a great sounding exhaust, despite the fact that Taitec apparently makes several different NSX exhausts with confusingly similar names!

It’s not super loud like the Gruppe M or the RM exhaust. If I were to compare it to the Comptech exhaust as a benchmark, Id say that all around this is a bit quieter, until you stomp on the throttle, then you get a real nice throaty scream – similar to a 355 – it sounds almost that good. If you know anyone with this exhaust, you really have to take a listen. You will be impressed!
