Tail light question (tinted vs non-tinted)

My understanding is that the JDM NA1s had tail lights that were slightly tinted vs the USDM NA1s that were not.

Question: did the JDM cars ever have non-tinted tail lights like the USDM? If yes is it basically the same lights as the USDM? And if yes, does anyone have a part#?

The Japanese market only had the darker rear tail lights. There was never a version that was "brighter". I don't see the interest unless you want the H symbol with lighter tail lights?

You cannot mix 'n match US, EU, and/or JP spec tail lights. They are all different. You have to match all three as a set.

In regards to Amayama part numbers, there is a process for a custom search, give that a try. I have had a 90% success rate with it.

If you have any Japanese NSX magazines you'll notice that all (or perhaps, most) the taillights are darker and have the H.
