TAIL LIGHT PROBLEM

My left tail running night lights (2 center left bulbs) when they are turned on they are real dim, but when i apply the brake they work fine.

Turnn single works fine, and brake lights works fine.

I know its not the bulb cuase i put new ones in and it does the same thing.

KNOWN PROBLEM?

Also, what is the little computer mother board looking thing called located on each side of the tail lights?

The brake light detector - on the display that shows where door open etc, the one at the bottom of the display is for brakelight - it will illuminate if a brake light is burned out when the brake pedal is pushed with the ignition on.

Check all of the wires, and the main grounding point for the rear lighting.

I have seen this alot of times on civics and integras and it has been because of a poor or disconnected ground.

My integra did something similar to this, with the parking lights getting brighter stepping on the brakes, and it was one of the grounds getting pulled out of the molex plug when i was welding in the roll cage.

All the brake lites work just fine (Both tail and the LED brake). I replaced all the bulbs with new ones and it still does the same thing on the left tail.

Although, I do have the " brakelight " tingy you were taking about IS lit on the display.. BUT i dont get it ALL brake lites work when i push in the brake, just those 2 tail running lites when the brake is not appied.

I have similar problem. Mine was diagnosed of faulty Lamda Sensor RH as given from the dash light signal. I bought the sensor again from the agent and after it was installed the dash light indicator showing the brake lamp is still on. The hand brake light is also on even after release.

I also hear some interference on the radio signal while listening on some programmes.

If the problem is the grounding where should I look for it?

Check the high mount brake light harness where it clamps to the driver's side trunk strut; my wire actually pinched/wore in two at the fold from closing the trunk.
