I have searched several time but can't seem to find exactly how to remove the tail light assemblies. I am getting water in and moisture and it appears that the lens is slightly warped out in the middle. I have tried to push this back in but won't budge. How hard is is to remove the entire assembly and replace? Looks like there is a metal edge inside the truck that won't allow you to get to the screws? Any advice?

The taillights are a breeze to remove and only require you getting access behind the trunk felt material. You'll need a 1/4 drive 10mm socket and a short extension to get thru some of the access holes in the sheetmetal you talked about.

Here are the instructions on removing the center tailight and changing the emblem.

Hi Paul, removal is really easy.

I just did both my NSX today. I had an 10mm 1/4 air wrench to lossen the bolts. Then i hand twisted off all the nuts.... i think off the top of my head, there are 10 on each side and 4 on the NSX center console.

So 24 holding the lights on in total. To take the lights off, there are 2 connectors to each side. Just disconnect that and the whole light assembly will come out.

There are 4 plasic anchors holding down the back carpet. Use a philips screw driver to take out the center screw and the rest of the anchor will come off.

Also you'll also need to peel off the carpet on the side wall of the trunk. There are 2 anchor screws holding those down so you can just take a strong plyer and pry those out.

After that, you just loosen the 24 screws and your done.

GL.
