Do I need to take off my wheels?

nope, but you do need to take out the spare tire and undo some bolts for the battery tray to make the front bar install easier..

Really? Are there any step by step directions out there?

When you jump under the car and take a look, you'll see It's really not hard at all.
From memory, there were 2 brackets that hold the bar up, each has 2 bolts. Losen those, then go to where the bar connects to the end-links.

There is a trick here I learned the hard way for the end-links. On the inside of the bolt connecting the end-link to the swaybar there is a hole for an allen wrench. This keeps the bolt from spinning when you losen the nut. So take those bolts off, then take off the two brackets from step 1.

Now wiggle the bar out, and you're 1/2 done.

Put silicone tape on the new bar where it will interface with the brackets. This will keep it from squeaking.

Then just go in reverse order to put the new one back in.

Thanks for that. I will be putting my new NSX-R front sway on this weekend and your post told me almost everything i wanted to know. Only one more  .

Any idea what to torque the bolts at?

sorry to hi-jack the post-
are zanardi sways thicker than any other oem sways except for nsx-r?

I'm sure everyone does, it's in the manual. the brackets are pretty low though. The end links are higher. Just peek in the manual.

In the manual huh  . Well wouldn't you know that i just fixed my computer and the manual is on another computer that i was using in the mean time. I guess i will download it again, since i know the link  .

hehe, yep :) Actually you hooked me up with the same manual that should help you too  Should I pm you your own link? lol

But hey, I was right though when I gave you the approximate torque specs:

"the brackets are pretty low though. The end links are higher."

17 ft/lb & 62 ft/lb :p
