Hi all. To start out here I will say that currently I'm driving on an eibach/koni setup in my nsx and have some questions about the other systems out there. I recently got the chance to drive another friend's nsx which had a bilstein and I think stock spring set up and the ride felt way way way more soft than my koni/eibach setup. I really actually prefered it to mine with the amount of real world driving i do versus tracking (one or two events planned for next year tops). Also, I'm dealing with 17/18 inch wheels so lowering is a must for me like everyone else with this setup.

My question is this, does anyone have enough experience with all the different combinations of springs/shock setup for the nsx (or at least the 5-10 most popular) to give us an idea of what to expect in terms of handling and ride quality? Something to the effect of a bullet point breakdown of the combo's and what one can expect if they put them on. If it's complete enough maybe it could become an faq??

I'm thinking once my koni's are shot (which won't be for a while) I'll replace with the bilsteins. I just don't want to sacrifice too much on the track for a "feels like riding on clouds" type ride when i'm pushing it to it's limits (eventhough I'm sure I'm never close based on my track experience). All I do know is an eibach/koni setup even at the highest adjustment is pretty harsh on Michigan roads.

Some names that come to mind obviously are koni, bilstein, oem and nsx-r oem, tein, anyone else i'm missing?
