I have a noise coming from my rear drivers side suspension. It started after I had new rear tires and alignment today. My buddy who is a Nissan mech. said its sounds like the rear sway bar may be a bit loose on the ends?? Any thoughts?? The sound is like a creaking type sound...

Lube them bushings!

When I drive over speed bumps, I noticed a squeaking type noise from my sway bar bushings. Well after three years, the lube in the bushings dried out. I use Mobil 1 FM-102 Food Machine Grease (a clear grease) and lube the inside of the bushing as well as the outside where the bracket surrounds it. Clean it up and torque the bolts down to factory spec and I'm fine for another three years.

Thanks for the tip but the bushings I got with the Dali Racing sway bar have a lip that extends slightly beyond the bushing bracket on each end. Once bolted in place, there's no way they can slide out. I've lubed them like this before and had zero problems. They were positioned in place all the time when I get under the car every other month or so for an overall underside inspection. I've tracked the car several times and they never moved out of position.

This may be a concern with bushings that may have a small lip.
