Been having a rougher ride recently
(2-4knocks when going over large bumps)
Investigated suspension and found these rings on coilovers were on different parts of the assembly.
The first picture is on the driver side and second on passenger side. Could this be a indicator of my problem?1000000809.jpg1000000810.jpg

is your driver side shock covered in oil? seems like it's falling apart. the knocking is either your shock empty of oil, your top hot knocking (if it's a pillow ball mount) or some other suspension part like a sway bar end link loose. take a closer and clearer picture of that driver side shock...

Heres some different angles of the driver side shock

99% sure that shock needs to be rebuilt. If you look at that starting at the 2 bottom coils of your main spring all the way down to the bottom of your coil over looks like it’s soaked in oil. You pushed the dust boot down so the ring nut isn’t visible in the pictures anymore but from I stand by my original guess that the ring nut has come loose somehow and let all your oil out. The knocking is the noise it makes when your shock is blown.

Thanks man sounds like Im in the coilover market feeling like trying our bc coilovers since I thought about them with my old 370z I sold Ill see whats good comparison for that price

While BC coilovers are a solid choice (admittedly I am not familiar with their cost), I'd suggest looking at the combination of Zanardi springs and Bilstein dampers (use the damper's lower perch). You will get a nice lowered height along with a nice handling package.
