I don't know of a sushi restaurant, but if you have time you should check out Javier's in Newport Beach. http://javiers-cantina.com/

Great food, atmosphere, and view. The ceviche is awesome! I also hear Kobe Bryant is a regular.

Is there any places like Santana Row where there's a good mix of dining, night life and just hanging out? I've been to Spectrum many times so trying to avoid that. It doesn't even have to be in Irvine since we don't have a set place to stay so we can be anywhere in socal....

There is a really good Japanese Restaurant in the Crystal Court across from South Coast Plaza called Hamamori. Makes me salivate just thinking about it - Yes, it's that good!! :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
