I wanted our track junkies to know that I joined the eastern Pantera club event at pocono's north course and because of poor attendance for one whole session I was the only car on the 1.3 mile config. It was amazing,I felt like Arthur,or a rock star. The second run it was a 355 challenge car and me.Finally we combined groups and I ran with some beutiful panteras some of which you could have eaten out of the engine bays.A diablo vt,and the only DeTomoso Guara in the US.The morral of this story is for all you track fans, dont just look to the ussual suspects, nasa, pca bmwc, look to the alfa, corvair pantera/special interrest clubs that also rent great tracks and allow Hondas!

Monaco GP circuit, LeMans, & Nurburgring.

I cant believe nobody has mentioned Talladega, Charlotte, or Rockingham! That's real racin, boy!

My picks:

1. I believe Montana has no speed limit anymore and the scenery is supposed to be gorgeous.

2. Lemans (with the Mulsanne intact)

3. 3 way tie (I know its cheating - so sue me

): The old Nurburging (14 miles), the old Monza circuit (using the high bank), the old Spa circuit (over 8 miles)

Notice all of my tracks are the "old" configuration. Modern day racing is certainly safe, but the tracks have been castrated.

I don't think Monaco would be very fun. No runnoff area and, from the drivers point of view, a lot of guardrail and not much else (but I love watching the F1 cars race there)

1. Motorsport Ranch (at NSXPO2002)
2. Texas Motor Speedway (at NSXPO2002)
3. The necessary roads between my residence and the Westin Beechwood hotel for NSXPO2002 from November 6-10!

This may be a stupid question, but what's the best way to find out about these type of events? I always seem to learn about them after they've happened.

The easiest way I've found is to call the tracks' management office and get a list of the renters for the season.I would also like to run; the ring, laguna, and spa.

Thanks, why didn't I think of that?
