no excactly like NASCAR, but defintely not a stock body either. there's some major internal re-working to get these NSX's to look/perform like the JGTC cars. complete reworking of the suspension, interior, etc

The Super GT cars do begin life using a new NSX aluminum chassis from Honda, which in turn gets modified for weight savings, higher rigidity, safety, and to satisfy all new component locations for everything from driver cooling ducts to engine, drive train, and suspension. However, it is still classified as a production race car (albeit they are slightly more prepared then most)..
NASCAR on the other hand operates under an entirely different and some what unusual rule set being mostly a circle track or short course based sport. Their vehicles start life as a steel tube chassis, which then get fitted with big displacement V8's.. and have absolutely zero parts in common with their production based counter parts like the Taurus.
