I attended FATT (Friday at the Track) yesterday and had a blast. Car was excellent, however - it's DEFINATELY time to upgrade the brakes. The OEM units certainly could not take it.

Here's some video I put together. I suck at video - so be gentle. :) I did however do better than a GTR on the turns and I passed a few Ferrari's, which of course made me happy.

Nice sound,it will be good to see some front view camera.

Unfortunately, the front view was the very last spot I moved the camera to and I only got 2 minutes total of footage before the memory card maxed out on me and was full. DOH!

Next time I'm going to do more on the front bumper and also from inside the cabin.

What are those dividing white lines on the track?? For a minute I thought you were driving in the streets, but then I saw the red/white FIA curbs...

what brakes you wanna get ?

nice vid btw:smile:

No clue, they're just part of the track I guess.

Go in Google Earth and search "Summit Point Motorsports Park" and zoom in.

It is definitely not your brakes. That track is fast but there are plenty of straights to cool off your brakes. I suspect you have old brake fluid that is boiling. It should be changed at the start of every track season.

First try replacing your brake fluid with something that can handle the temps, like Motul 600, remove the front dust shields and adding some big air deflectors from Dali, Downforce or SoS. That should help big time. If you are still boiling your fluid, try some StopTech AeroRotors in the OEM size.

I drive my '91 on a track that is ridiculously hard on brakes and I now have no problem with those mods.

I've already upgraded the entire system, front and rear with WPPro. Using SuperBlue Dot4. :)

Okay, I get it. You didn't need new brakes but you wanted new brakes. I am with you there. Nice.

Unfortunately a picture is not worth a thousand words in this case. Tell us whether you like your new brakes.

My next track session is a week from tomorrow (Oct 14). I'll know for sure then. So far, I love them for some testing I've done here and there on the street. Very very smooth pedal feel, but a very exotic feel. If you need to stop, you stop on the spot.

Same here, I've driven my car at a local track that is hilariously hard on brakes and didn't have a single issue with fade. I was running fairly respectable lap times as well.
