Well, it looks like we are going to Montreal to participate in the Redline Time Attack. We have no idea of the area and the track. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do and what not to do over there?

Im from NJ but a little birdy tells me the Strip Clubs in Canada are simply unreal. So Ive heard:tongue:

Thats pretty much the reason why we are going:) R&D for Seamless and stuff:biggrin:

I'll second the strip clubs in YUL! The girls in YUL make the Vegas girls look like Skanks and they don't try to hustle you to pay for their rent, their boob job, shopping or their baby's diapers.

We overnight at the Clarion down by St. Catherine and Crescent. Bars and clubs galore down there. One of my favorite placed to bid for overnights (during the summer that is).

geez if u think the club/bar scene in St Catherines is good u havent seen anything yet
head to downtown Toronto or Montreal
as for race tracks im sure others from the area could chime in

When NSXPO goin' be in Canada?

I live in Ottawa, 2 hrs away from Montreal, and I'll be at the Time Attack as a spectator.

Lots to do in Montreal. The venue is about 30-45 min away from downtown. PM me your budget and timing etc and I'll see what I can figure out for you guys.

Say hi to the Green Machine! Shes in one of the clubs there.
Story behind this for another time.

What happens in the M, stays in the M.

The one to go to is "Club Super Sex". It's famous, I go regularly, why shouldn't I, my wife goes on at 10:00.

There are two ways to go to MTL: Budget and High End
Budget:
Hotel: Pick a hotel along/near St. Catherine in downtown area (don't worry about finding strip clubs - they'll find you!)
Food: Pick anywhere, the french can cook!
entertainment: See above

High end:
Hotel: Stay at one of the boutique hotels (St.Germain, etc) in the "old city"
Food: eat dinner in that area, eat b-fast and lunch in cool places recco'd by the concierge
Entertainment: Go to high end clubs like "Time" (in the end you'll pay about the same $$$ as a night at the peeler bars but you'll get to bring a "real" girl back to your hotel with you - if you've got 1/2 a brain!)

Don't we wish! We tried, but our submission was "passed" on.

The *new* NSX Club of Canada will be having several events that will be worth the trip from Jersey (upstate NY, etc.) and we'll try to keep u in the loop.

We will do "X-Travaganza" each year which will involve cars from Windsor to Montreal. And it will be held at a time it does not conflict with XPO, so you can come - we'll make it worth the drive to Canada!

I would suggest staying anywhere near St. Catherine Street or Crescent St. so you can take in all the nightlife. For the racers, you might wanna try our "Newtown", owned by Jacques Villeneuve on Crescent.

There's a Delta, Holiday Inn on Sherbrooke that were decent. If you're on a budget and need to have a lot of parking for your vehicles I would suggest one of the hotels off Rte 40 about 20 mins away from the downtown core.

Do you want to come crew with our team:)

Thanks for all the advice guys. With the cost of shipping out our cars, plane tickets, etc. We would probably go the budget route. The main thing is we want to go out there and have a good time with little hassle so if we are 30min-45min from the track no biggie. Hope to meet some of you guys out there!

swbatte, Pictures please!!!

You'll just have to go see the show. She's actually retired now, but back in the day............ Fun place though!

Love to Mike, just let me know where and when!!!

Montreal is one of the greatest cities on this side of the Atlantic. You'll have a blast! I always advise every guy I know to go to Quebec for a vacation. You will love it. I mean really love it. All the advice above is bang on!

In all seriousness, we should try and get some NSX fan support out for you guys! When you know more details, let us know and we'll spread the word to the Ottawa / Montreal owners!

Guys - do not listen to Stu about Montreal.

Le Germaine is not in the old city - but it is an awesome hotel!

And the "spot" you want to visit is WANDAS, not so much SuperSex (anymore). Once you guys go there, you're done for. No going home. Its cheap, too. If you want ahemsomethingalittlemoreahem, Grand Prix, out of town though.

Seeing as Im the track guy for the new NSX Club up here -Ill make it a prioritity to find out something about the track for you guys. Ive already checked Trackpedia - zilch.

Montreal is more than one of the best cities this side of the Atlantic, Id put it at one of the best cities IN THE WORLD.

Back in the late 60s/early 70s, it WAS THE BEST CITY IN THE WORLD.

Im there once a month.

The track at St. Eutasche is a small oval track mainly used by local club racers. I was there 2 summers ago for a drift event put on by DriftMania, who runs a national series. You might be able to find moe details of the venue by googling their website.
