suggestions for good car vacuum

Hi all, i'm wondering what everyone else uses to vacuum their interior. I'd prefer NOT to use the local car wash vac because the crudy hose scrapes back and forth over the sill while you're vacuuming. I haven't seen any comparisons made between car vacs.

Shop Vac

I just use a 15 gallon shop vac. Got plenty of power for any type of cleanup and the blower works well to dry the car after washing prior to wiping down. I think I got my at Loews for $20 on sale.

I'm using a Dirt Devil Hand Vacuum. It has a rotary rug beater just like the regular size house vac. Don't remember the cost.

I use Dyson vacuum cleaner (its not a car vac, just house hold one, but has lots of accessories which is good for cars)

I have a dog, so I need a strong one like this for pet hairs.
