Don't forget to keep a diagonal cutter pliers in the car, or at least a razor blade or utility knife. After you put the plug in, it's a good idea to trim the plug flush with the tread. Doing so reduces the chance of the plug working its way out of the hole as you drive.I've used the Harbor Freight plug kit many times and have yet to have a failure of the repairs I've made.I also keep a small compressor much like the one Osiris_X11 mentioned below. Harbor Freight is a great place for stuff like this.
