Hey guys!
Removed my subwoofer and disconnected 2 pin connector and 6 pin connector. My question is, on the end of that same conduit that these connectors originate, is a brown 4 pin connector that when I pulled the sub out was dangling freely. Did this attached to anything. I stuck my head under there and could not see a point to connect this to. Is it just an extra?

TIA!!!

Greg

Greg, did you notice that stuck onto a same-color clip at the top of the aluminum protective panel? I think one was brown and one was blue. At any rate, yes, I have them and I recall reading what they were for, and not worrying about it after I read that, but I can't for the life of me remember what exactly they did... Diagnostics maybe?

I think it might be for the keyless entry module, that you add on.
The module sits under the glove box.
That or the Diagnostics, mine was free as well but its nothing to worry about.

Sub dead then tweeter also

was dead--the little speaker at your back between your seats . I just had all mine replaced even though the left was working. I know that the subwoofer controls the tweeter and now I can hear it....Have a working system now but not all that impressed
