Sent my OEM trunkstruts for rebuild to Frank at Strutwise. Other than the elapsed time for transit to/from Canada, this was an easy deal. Send him two struts, he fixes and returns in 48 hours.
I called him to give him my CC number. Very friendly. I asked him about refurbing the SOS trunk struts I bought four years ago and he said they are nowhere near as good as the OEM ones. My OEM ones (1997) worked better when I replaced them four years ago than the SOS ones did after four years.
