I just had my trunk lid and engine cover struts repairs by Strutwise (www.strutwise.com) and they work perfectly. The trunk struts cost US $32 each to repair and the engine cover struts were US $45 each.

Postage to British Columbia, Canada was about $15 each way so the whole job was just under $200 which is a fraction of what it would have cost to replace them.

I can highly recommend the service to anyone who has to hold their trunk lid open with their shoulder right now!

Frank is an awesome guy with a great service, both on the physical repair of the components & in his customer service approach.
He just did my NSX hatch struts as well as a pair of monster struts for my ZX300TT (those thngs carry a HUGE load on them) - he even flipped the adapters on those for me so they will be inverted when re-installed - recommended a much longer life in that orientation.
Can't say enough about him - definitely a <!--StartFragment -->
