Pretty sure they will bolt into either T or coupe engine compartment. The CT coupe bar does not have the triangle braces, only connects the shock towers.
Thats a comptech strut bar for the targa car. The coupe strut is not the same
I remember reading a post a while back that someone installed the targa version into a coupe however i don't see the benefits because where it mounts to the fire wall dose not seem to strong.
Someone needs to build a good strut bar for the front two struts... I know there was talk a few months ago on a piece, but the welding of two/three pieces toegether wasn't too inspiring, at leaset for me, as to it's strength.
We need something like this that is "1 piece"... similar to the Type R chasis bars.
I had this on my Civic many years ago and it made a huge difference. Placebo or not, you could almost feel like the front end was much tighter, and the back end (which didn't have a bar..) felt more like it was caving in on tight corners.
My gut says that there is already one that works from another car, a car that shares the same distance between the two struts.... Someone (I ) should do some investigation..
