Stripped rear wheel stud

Oil change last week revealed one stud/nut was stripped. Initially seemed locked, but loosened up with WD40. How difficult is it to replace this? I use a mobile mechanic and would appreciate tips or let me know if there is anything different with the NSX he needs to know. Also, what are the part numbers for the lug nut and stud? Are there any parts I may need to buy in order to replace old ones since we are already there?

Last time oil was changed, he manually took off and installed lug nuts....never uses the impact wrench. How could this happen? I have seen NTB put these back on my other vehicles with utter carelessness but I have never had any of these stripped. Ironic how the one car that gets special attention ends up with this type of damage

Thank you. Will look at these. Does anybody know how I can get OEM ones? Am I limited to aftermarket options?

I imagine you can get them but why? It’s always been my understanding that ARP studs are about the best available. Perhaps out of a notion of purity?

90113-S84-901 OEM Wheel Bolt. Very Expensive $1.22 :):) Available....

Right, would prefer oem replacement so my mobile mechanic would not have to fiddle with it.

Thank you sir Larry B. Would you happen to know lug nut's and any words of wisdom? Anything different about NSX that a Toyota mechanic should know?

90304-SA7-811 Blk lug nut, about $6....

jwmelvin's comments are all you need, just have him grind a small area off the back flange of the stud, and you do not need to remove the hub.

Thank you sir.

If you use the search function on Prime, you should be able to find a thread with pictures (always good) that covers replacement of the lug nuts and the required grinding to avoid hub removal. The thread is probably at least 4 years old.

Thanks for the tip.
