Stories like these need to be made sticky's so when somebody decides to post a little story about how their NSX just beat XXXX they might think twice about bragging.
Absolutely nothing good comes of street racing no matter when/where it is done.
If you want to be a real man and have a real race, do it on a track!!

OK, not to make light of the situation...

The article in the Star says... "The two people in the Sunfire, a 31-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, were rushed to hospital and are in serious condition."

The Pulse24 says... "Last Saturday night, Robert and Lisa Manchester were on their way home after celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary when they were hit by an alleged street racer at Yonge and Stouffville Road."

So if it was their 17th anniversary then the wife was 6 and the husband was 14 when they got married?

Probably some type of reporting error. News is not always 100% accurate.

Here is the sobering part:

Last Saturday night, Robert and Lisa Manchester were on their way home after celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary when they were hit by an alleged street racer at Yonge and Stouffville Road.

The accident killed the couple and orphaned their seven-year-old daughter.

They are talking about two different accidents. The couple who were celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary were killed in an accident earlier in the week.

My condolences to the families.

two different accidents, two different couples....read the articles again:redface:

tragic:frown:

My heart goes out to the families and kid who lost her parents. :frown:

I've been crucified on this forum before for saying stuff like this but as far as I am concenred I will say it again, to the people that caused the tragedy...hang em!

If you are going to do stupid crap like street race and kill or injur an innocent person, then you revoke ALL you rights to living. Like 92nsx says, be a man and take it to a track, or at least somewhere where the only person you will kill is yourself.

just reading the stories brought tears...very sad.

If someone is going to do something stupid, then jump off the bridge. Don't take someone else life away....geez.

My condolences to the families. Somethings are preventable, use your head on the road everyone and be safe.
