Hello every NSX enthusiast,

I seem to have a slight whirling sound that seems to sound like a pulley or something from the engine bay. When I lightly press on the clutch pedal, the noise goes away. I have noticed this noise every time I turn on my 97 NSX, manual transmission. Anyone have any idea what this could mean. The noise stays completely gone from the moment I press the clutch pedal to all the way to the floor. I really can't tell if it's there at higher road speeds because it isn't loud enough. Please let me know what you guys think.

This is the throw out bearing making noise when it is unloaded (clutch pedal out). Probably not a big deal. Mine has been doing that for years:).

How many miles on your clutch?

I would just keep an "ear" on it:). As mentioned Mine has been whining a little for years now. When the clutch wears I will replace it, and I am sure that after not so long it will start whining again.
