Strange problem with OEM radio

Sorry for posting here, I couldn't get a single feedback regarding this problem on the Stereo forum.

I have been having strange problem with my oem radio.

I snapped the antenna mast 2 month ago, but it did not bother me one bit for quite sometime, as I still get crystal clear signals for the MP3 transmitter even with snapped antenna mast.

Unfortunately the the radio signals became very static all of sudden.

I have no clue what cause the change all of sudden. No MP3 is killing me, so I went out and bought a new antenna mast and installed it today, but it did not help one bit :frown:

I the static comming from all 3 speakers? I assume the mp3 player is getting to the stereo through a fm modulator?

Thanks for the responds, I am not sure if it is coming from all 3 speakers. Yes, I use FM modulator to play the MP3.

It is also very static when I am just trying to listen to FM radio stations.
