Stoptechs and hubcentric rings??!!

Well here is another problem I have encounter after installing the stoptechs at the front, I will try to elaborate as good as I can, so please bare with me.

The scenario is like this, before the bbk install I was running a 15mm spacer that fit really really snug on the stock wheel spindle/hub after the rotor of course, and a hubcentric ring between the spacer and the wheel.

Now, the stoptech rotor hats are thicker than stock rotors and that is making the h&r spacer not to sit on the hub anymore(barely sits).

And for that reason I have vibrations at the front now.

So, the wheel, the hubcentric ring, and the spacer aren't centric because the rotor hat doesn't leave any room for the spacer to sit.

Did anyone ran into this ?

Am I missing something here?

For those running stoptechs, are you guys running spacers?
Did anyone encounter any problems?

FWIW, used to run either a 3mm or a 5mm spacer with the Stoptech with some wheels due to caliper clearance issues with the wheels, did not experience any problems in regards to wheel vibration. The spacers sat fine on the little bit of the hub that was exposed, never ran any spacers that were wider than 7.5mm.

BTW: Hope that you were able to find some replacement studs that make up for the extra width of the Stoptech Hat + the 15mm spacer.

I have used Project Kics spacers in the rear with my stoptechs, 10mm and 15 mm (they have the integrated studs). For the front, I have used 3mm and currently with 5mm (no extended studs/integrated studs needed with 5mm or less). No issues or weird vibrations front or rear.

Ya, you need to use the spacers with integrated studs.

I have the 15 mm H&R spacers that I use with my 02+ wheels and Stoptech. No issues though the fit is tight when the rotor is hot.

Edit: Try to clean the inside of your spacers and the rotor hub with some #1000 sand paper and see if that helps.
