2. Start by beginning with the right rear of the car (passenger side rear). This is the furthest point from the master cylinder and most efficient for bleeding later on.

3. Jack up the car and support the car with jack stands.

4. Remove the wheel

10. Place the caliper out of the way and unbolt the 10mm screws holding the dust shield in place.

11. Take tin snips and make a cut just under the top screw hole of the dust shield, and bend the flap. The dust shield can easily be removed.

12. On the caliper, remove the e-brake line by removing the (2) 12mm screws holding the bracket and the retainer clip. Then remove the cotter pin and shaft from the end of the e-brake cable. The bracket will slide right off the end.

19. Remove the retainer clip and unscrew the brake line.

20. Remove the old caliper completely

21. Feed the new stainless steel brake line through the factory hole. (Make sure the new brake line does not bind on anything and clear of moving parts)

22. Once this has been done, tighten down the line at the caliper.

23. Install the opposite end of the brake line.

24. Install new retainer clip.

25. Reinstall the factory brake line holder bracket (2) 10mm screws and (1) 12mm screw for the brake line.

26. Adjust the e-brake caliper as shown in the Stoptech manual.

27. Install the e-brake caliper using the (2) Allen head bolts supplied by Stoptech. (use a little bit of loc-tite on these bolts)

28. Insert the supplied 3mm spacer washer on the e-brake line, and then feed it through the hole.

29. Using the e-brake cable, install the cotter pin rod and cotter pin on the end. (I found it much easier to use a pair of vise grips and clamped on the outer edge of the lever and used it for additional leverage when inserting the cotter pin rod)

Looks great Allen... I'm curious how they will work for you. Please post your input when there broken in.

Does the e-brake have its own piston (stupid question?)? Is the kit proportioned?

the e-brake has it's own piston that is lever actuated (vs hydrolic)

the kit is proportioned using the same clamping for specs as the Honda engineers designed for the NSX. Since Stoptech makes all their own calipers, they can change piston sizes to accomodate the proper clamping forces. In this case, they use smaller piston bores in the rear caliper vs the front.

How is the balance of the brakes? Beautiful set up. The rear calipers are as large as the front calipers. My Wilwood set up are 4 pistons all around right now but the rear calipers are smaller than the larger front. Changing to the six piston set up soon for the front.

I just answered one of your questions above...

and yes, physically the calipers are the same size, but bias is different.
