Stoptech - Parking Brake Cables HELP

Just installed a Stoptech BBK. Anyone have suggestions on how to properly install parking brake cables or where I can find info?

StopTech in their infinite wisdom placed installation manuals on their website. Isn't technology wonderful? :)

Here ya go!

I already have the installation manual. I found it on while I was surfing the weeb!! What does technology mean?!?!?

They do not have any pics or info about routing of the P/B cable. It says to attach the cable from the bottom. Cable needs to pull from the top. No pics - contacted Stoptech and they aren't sure. Good thing they understand the expensive product they sell.

well if you read the instructions you would see there so vauge when it comes to the parking brake portion of the manual, you would think a big comapany like stoptech would have better info on there expensive products

I have finally had the time to install my StopTech BBK front and rears on my 04, problem I found is that the parking cable adapter (sliver ring) that attaches to the caliper (mine is black opposed to the silver looking one in the instructions) seem too big, such that the grove for the holding clip cannot be installed. It also appears to keep my cables protruding down low and one it looks odd but two I dont want them to get caught on something while driving. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

My cables protrude down too low as well. My mechanic used a heavy duty zip tie to tie the center up around the toe links. I'm not fond of this arrangement either and hoping for a better solution. Seems the cable is too long.

Thank you for the help!

Turns out we had the "old" instructions and that the "new" parking brake caliper does NOT require the use of the parking brake cable clips. We seem to have everything up and running :) We used the zip ties otherwise the cables did rub the wheels.

My Stoptech E Brakes still doesn't have enough clamping force to hold the car in place :(

Mine do. It's definitely not a production issue across the board.
