StopTech big brake kit

Hi guys,

My NSX has a StopTech big brake kit fitted and it has unfortunately failed it's annual checkup on the e-brake. The tester could not engage the e-brake properly because the e-brake cable has seized. E-brake performance has been eroding over several years.

I need to work out what parts to order from StopTech to fix this however I would like to ask if anybody knows if there is just one StopTech big brake kit, if so what is the correct name? Can you obtain these parts individually?

Finally do the BBKs use the OEM e-brake cable and fittings or does one come supplied with the kit?

One thing to note the rear e-brake caliper has 'Brembo' written on it and on the brake pad for the e-brake - is this normal?

There may be other members who can chime in on the fix, but I would say contact Science of Speed, I believe they work directly with StopTech on the NSX big brake kit.

Brembo is the norm for many BBK e-brakes.

Here's a pic of my ebrake on my Stoptech trophies. It uses the original cable and is easy to install.



Had to loosen these brackets to take up slack that the e-brake cable adds.
