Thanks for the opinions guys. The deal with the car is that it's from one of those websites that sell stolen/recovered cars, totaled cars, cars in accidents, etc.. The car is now "READY TO GO" .. everything was replaced that was stolen apparently. Yes, I was considering it because of the price. I'm a 19 year old dreamer (trying to start a highly potential internet business at the same time may I mention). I currently have a 3000GT but am selling it. Once it is gone, I wanted either a VR-4 or perhaps something I can get to be RELIABLE for the time being. But an NSX has ALWAYS been a dream to me (along with many other cars).
The '92 I found for sale has 83k miles and it's $24,500 - but the price is negotiable. I checked into buying a used clutch already in case it went out since I've heard they're EXPENSIVE
But anyway, you guys are right - I should hold off and buy one that actually has a known history, etc. I'll just have to pray I can get venture capital or an angel investor for my business so I can make more money. THANK YOU ALL, ONCE AGAIN. I think I'll pass on the stolen/recovered NSX.
P.S. steveny - Excellent example.. hehe.. oh, and ANYTIME - I've seen many I wanna buy, but I am trying to be smart and holding off on $30k cars right now. I prefer to save as much as I can while I'm young. The thought of getting an NSX for $22k sounded EXTREMELY TEMPTING!
