Has anyone toyed with the idea of making a stock market section for the forum or anything along those lines? I know there have got to be a lot of us here on the forum who dabble at the very least, or are full blown professionals. I think it would be fun to see some recommendations or just some overall conversation.

What does everyone think?

I know that as a "professional" at a "major firm", my firm will not allow me to give advice over any "forum" that isn't monitored by the firm (compliance is a major issue ), that being said, I have a website (firm sponsored that I pay for), and am available to clients, friends and fellow enthusiasts via phone. Even my e-mails have to be firm compliant, so, if you want professionals involved, they would probably be "independents" because most of the big firms are very similar in restrictions. I do know that there have been many threads from some of our "day traders" that exchange ideas. BOL

^^^ Pretty much what RPM said. As a research analyst, everyone of my investment related communications must be retained for at least 3 years.

The fun's over folks :D

We don't have to tell anyone we're registered reps.

Oh well, worth a try....Day/Swing traders, where you all at?!!
