Stock CD changer

Hi Folks-

I have a stock '95 with an OEM CD changer. I went to change some CDs yesterday, only to discover that the sliding door of the changer would not slide open save for a 1/4 inch perhaps. Could it be that the cartridge has popped up and is inhibiting me to open the door? Then, I tried to play CDs and it would not play anymore! I hope I didn't bust anything. If this helps, when I started the car I noticed that I was listening to a CD last before I shut the car off last.

Yes. This normally gives and E-05 display. Press against the side of the magazine to push it inward before trying to fully open the sliding door. Then follow the reset procedure I will post in a new thread.
