NA2 Headers -> NA1 NSX

Anybody have anymore input on this topic as I am getting ready to go ahead with the project
Do what Z' sez... (NSXFoYoAss)
NA2 Headers ('97-'99) Installation in NA1 NSX ('91-'96):
- Remove pre-'97 cast-iron headers/manifolds (clear-coat/seal & use boat-anchors!)
- Install '97-'99 headers.
*Either modify the ends of the '97-'99 headers to fit the NA1 cats
-or-
*Modify the 'entry'/inlet part of the NA1 cats to fit the '97-'99 headers.
Note: Need to cut/weld & replace 0
2 sensor to another location; exhaust/muffler shop can do this.
NA2 Headers ('00-'01) Installation in NA1 NSX ('91-'96):
- Remove pre-'97 cast-iron headers/manifolds (clear-coat/seal & use as boat anchors!)
- Install '00-'01 headers.
*Modify the ends of the '99-'01 headers to fit the NA1 cats
I believe two locations along the length of the header have to be 'cut' & re-welded, ie. change the header-cats mating part/joint and also a flange angle along the headers. Also an 0
2 sensor opening may need to be plugged (an additional one on the NA2 '00-'01 headers)
-or-
*Acquire NA2 cats to fit the '00-'01 headers. This will require a 97+ aftermarket exhaust (w/ the adapter pipes, offered by SOS).
(Atleast that's to my understanding above, based on the pm's/emails I had w/ Todd/2NERWorks, and Chris/SOS... thanks, guys!)
I have NA2 headers in my garage from an '00-'01 NSX. I plan to get them altered/fabricated to fit my '91 NSX w/ NA1 cats and pre-'97 aftermarket exhaust.
Plan for Dyno:
- Stock '91 NSX w/ K&N filter (baseline pull)
- add intake_scoop mod'
- add modified NA2 headers
- add aftermarket exhaust
- add ECU-chip I acquired recently
Hopefully these runs on the dyno will give some idea as to whether some of the bolt-on mods make a difference or not...
It'd be insightful if you do some before/after dyno runs as well!
