CEL 22 does not indicate a malfunctioning spool valve, but rather a lack of pressure at the pressure switch (see my previous post). There is a pressure test port on each head for testing available and actual Vtech pressure with spool open. I would hook up a pressure guage with whip hose and read it from inside the car while driving, as opposed to on the dyno. This will give you the chance to observe it under actual driving conditions including temperature and (pan) windage conditions. You will also be able to corelate, or prove no corelation between, heat and VTech issues. I know you had the VTech checked and rechecked, but I woonder if the O ring under the oil plate might have been left out.MB
