Stereo - pics available

Hi,

Just wanted to see if anyone has suggestions out there.

I've been working on my car, I got a panasonic in-dash dvd pop-up screen, purchased the SOS center console plate, and also the SOS footwell box. I bypassed the amps for the door speakers because they were fried... anyway. I have another set of speakers that I want to put behind the seat but there's no room. I am building a rack for an amp and a cap behind the driver seat but not sure where the speakers should go. any ideas? perferably would want the speakers to be removable. Thanks alot.

This is the 5 farad Cap. It lights up and I kind of find it annoying so I think I'm going to cover it up.

Your install looks pretty clean, I'm amazed you had room behind your seats for the Cap & Amp. You must be alot shorter than me, and I stand 5 '9. 5 Farad a bit large for your setup? I love it nothing like a massive piece of stereo equipment to add 'bling' to your ride, you should see the amp in the trunk of my car ;)

As for your 2nd set of speakers are they 6.5inch? If so you might be able to get a 2nd set into the door panels similar to the ones in the Alpine demo car, but a costly removeble upgrade at $2500 you might be able to get a reputable stereo shop to fab some panels for you application http://www.umbrellaautodesign.com

P.S where did you get the floor mats, are they NSX issue or from something else?

yeah I'm only 5.7 and I sit pretty far back as well and it fits perfect. The 5 Farad cap is a little excessive but it was on sale so what the hey.

I forgot where I got the mats from it was from one of my previous cars and I think it may have an integra. It fits pretty decently in the NSX.

Thanks for the advice, I think I'm going to try and fit it behind the head rest somehow.

Yea I was thinking of getting the dual pod door skins, but realized that 2x 6.5 are pretty loud and sound great in my car. Well seeing how you got more room behind to deal with, I'm sure you can make some panels up out of fiberglass and put them behind the seat. You could also rig something up in the center channel area, but I noticed it doesn't quite sound right when sound comes out between the seats, not a true sound stage setup. Problem is the NSX is small inside which makes it hard to look & sound good. Make sure you show us what your up to back there
