Steering Shaft Dia. / Spline number

Does anybody know the NSX steering shaft spline count and Diameter?

Or if you have your steering wheel off, could you measure it.

Rob,

I will measure it probably tomorrow. Raining like cats and dogs here today, and the car is outside. The steering wheel takes a 17mm nut (now that I think of that, I am not sure!).

I will be at Road Atlanta for the Chin event January 11-12.

I still hope to call you, but just for the time being here are the numbers I got with my $1.99 plastic Northern Tool's caliper!

Shaft width - 15mm
Shaft length - ~54mm
Steering wheel nut is 19mm

When you say shaft width, are you talking about the outer spline diameter? Or the threads, because 15mm is only .59”. It's outer spline diameter that I need, Im trying to put together a Billet option for NSXr’s to add a Momo or Sparco wheel.

15mm is the outer diameter of the spline and shaft, not the threads. The shaft length is including the threads for the nut. The smooth shaft and spline length is 26mm, the rest of the length is threaded shaft. Confused?
