steering column parts

i suspect i am missing a part-
should there be a cylindrical ring that would fit onto the steering column, underneath the srs hub assembly, that engages the turn-signal cancelling switch (one with 2 white tabs)? i inherited the problem with the purchase and can't find any reference- i do not see anything that would engage the switch as installed right now.

well, mistery solved- i am missing a part. apparently i need a metal/copper ring with a plastic piece that connects to it- the whole thing fits over the steering shaft inside the srs hub.

ANYONE HAS IT? i need it asap!
