yes lately I been having a some start up problems in the cold here in illinois..I replace the battery yesterday , but its seems to crank but won't start, but i notice when the temperature was at 47 degree today.. I decided to start it up again and suddenly it work after a few seconds of cranking hmmmm strange. doesn't want to start when its really cold(about 27F low) but when its running and met the require warm temperature i can shut it down and turn it on without any problems.. could it be the main relay? HELP

i had a similar problem. I tried soldering the main relay first. Still had the problem. I cleaned the ignition switch and still had the same problem from time to time.
So I decided to replaced the main relay. Still, the problem occurs from time to time. New ignition it was. Started up much quicker now. Lets see if the problem occurs again.

So far so good.

Tap the main relay gently with your knuckle. Try starting.
You could also change out the relay with a prime member. Takes all of
5 minutes and only 2 simple plugs to remove.
