I remember seeing a black NSX with the professors in black but I can't seem to find it anymore...

Never saw the Professors on an NSX before. They look pretty aggressive! For that type of wheel though, I'd still prefer the Work Meister S1 2 or 3-piece.

is the lip on the wheel always "staggered" (not sure if that's the right word to use) like that in the rear? It doesn't look like it is in the picture of the silver sp1 that dave posted, but it does in the black one

I think the correct term for the lip is "stepped."
