Im changing the stance of my ride, again! I want a 3/4- 1 inch drop only. I've had a 1.5 drop then a 2 inch drop in the past and then I put the original shocks and springs back on. Now, to me it looks way too high. Does anybody know anything about Swift Sport Springs. Any suggestions on a spring that only lowers the car 1 inch and will ride like the OEM's or my wife says no more date nites in the NSX! Help !

Yeah, bilstein shocks with the OEM springs set on the lower perch. .875" drop

Problem solved. You get your .75" to 1" drop you wanted AND oem ride but with performance shocks. Cheap since it'll only set you back $480 shipped for the 4 shocks w/ perches and you use your oem springs. Then in the future, you can always put in drop springs and mix match springs with perch locations for more drop or just the amount the spring provides. You can also do custom perch levels too for more or less drop.

You can use drop springs like tein S techs that'll drop it about 7/8" front and 1" rear but they'll turn your oem shocks to soup shortly. So then you'll be in the need for new shocks (more money) and any drop spring is going to have a stiffer/harsher/harder ride than stock.

For the money, longevity, drop, ride and warranty, you can NOT go wrong with the Bilsteins.

I'm not sure what any of you think about adjustable spring perches, but don't they lead to having your corner balances way off.

In Spec Racer Ford racing, 2 twists of the perches was a major difference in handling (as far as racing goes).

I'm wondering how owners of adjustable spring perches (ie, adjustable ride height) keep the corner balances roughly equal.

The perches on bilsteins are all set identical. (ex. all 4 grooved .875" lower) It wouldn't throw the corner balance off because the balance is same as stock.

Ok, where do you find bilstein shocks for $480.00 shipped?

the nopi guy. Gotta call em up. Do a search for the guy's name.

"Do a search for the guys name"? I've rattled every trash can, smacked every pimp around and still no ones givin me the name or number for "The Nopi Guy"!

You sure? I think you were smacking the wrong pimps and rattling the wrong trash cans because a search for "nopi $480 bilsteins" brought up exactly the right 6 threads.

I can't be doing ALL the work now......

I decided to hedge my bet a bit and added in the Dali adjustable ht collars designed to work with the Bilstein shocks. Very happy I did... Yes there is another $450 added to the setup, but nothing added to the installation time&cost. I did have a race shop set the corner balance for me, but once again, not much $$$. The payoff was that once at home I reailzed I was scraping on every speed bump in my neighborhood BUT could then put exactly two turns into each height adjuster for an overall increase of 1/8" and no scraping... VERY happy I added that element to the mix, or I'd have been 'axially threaded' i.e. screwed.
