I have a 93 NSX. The speed of climate control fan can no longer be varied from low to high. The fan WILL come on full blast if I turn the fan knob all the way clockwise to it's maximum position. However, the fan remains off at anything less than the maximum setting (whereas it used to allow variable speeds).
Acura tells me that a transistor needs to be replaced. The part alone is several hundred dollars. Does anyone know if there's a less expensive source for this and how difficult it might be to replace this transistor? Would the procedure be documented in the NSX service manual?
Many thanks.
