i just picked up a 97+ oem 6 spds tranny for my 93 nsx
i am getting ready to install it. Now, i was told that the tranny has about 37k miles on it. Due to limited budget, i am considering not to replace clutch/flywheel unless i have to.
i understand i might have to pull it later on and spend all the labor again. But, $ 1,800 ~ 2,000 IS huge for me for now. I rarely drive my nsx, if i can get this clutch/flywheel to last me 20k miles then i will be in good shape.. (hopefully my wallet will heal by then)
can someone pls tell me what is the "acceptable spec" for clutch & flyhweel of a 97 6 spds tranny? also, should i resurface it"
