Speaker or Amp?

I'm getting the hissing and popping from my rear center speaker and was wondering if I need to replace the speaker or the amp. What do you guys think it is?

It's the amp and it located in the sub woofer in the pasenger foot well. Check out the FAQ here on prime for more info.

Yes, the subwoofer amp and pretty soon it will go also, if it has not already...There is nothing coming from my center tweeter and the sub is almost dead---I got all 3 replacements from a person on Ebay and so the next time it happens, I send the old ones to Bose and then R&R the bad one--it's nice to have a 2nd set--By the way Bose charges 75.00 now plus shipping--you have to email before sending the unit in.....

Just upgrade to aftermarket and forget about it.
